take off ✈️
脫掉；起飛；休假；離開； 扣除，去掉
take off 有很多意思，這裡列出日常生活最常看到的五個意思。起飛的用法，除了用於飛機起飛之外，也用於事業開始成功，蒸蒸日上，越來越好。
take off 是可分開片語，例如：脫掉我的鞋子 take off my shoes 或是 take my shoes off。注意，如果受詞是代名詞 it 或是 them，就只能 take it off 和 take them off ，不可以放在 off 的後面。
take off 如果是休假意思時，一般是用於工作上，學校休假不用這個片語。take off 沒有去上班，可能是休假或是請假，所以在翻譯上可以看對話情境決定。take tomorrow off 明天休假，要當片語學起來，因為不可以說 take off tomorrow。
A: Take off your shoes when you enter the house.
B: Sorry, I forgot. I'll take them off now.
A: 當你進到屋裡時，要脫掉你的鞋子。
B: 很抱歉，我忘了。我現在把它脫掉。
A: Take your raincoat off and put it outside.
B: I'll hang it up on the balcony.

If you're sick, you should take the day off. Go home and rest.

I need to take off next Friday. My son has a doctor's appointment.

說明：下個星期五要休息 take off next Friday 或是 take next Friday off
She is taking tomorrow off. She is going on vacation to Thailand.
她明天要請假。她要去泰國度假。

He took off and left his wife and three kids behind.
他突然離開，留下他太太和孩子不管。
說明：這裡的 take off 意思是突然離開，不告而別。
If you use your membership card, they’ll take 10% off the original price.
